.doc .xls .txt .rtf

[edit] PDF Documents

PDF documents are easy to view on iPhone and even easier to page through. PDF documents linked to from web content are opened automatically. The page indicator keeps track of where users are in a document. And just like movies, users can rotate iPhone to view a PDF in landscape orientation.

[edit] Unsupported Technologies

You’ll want to avoid using Flash and Java for iPhone content. You’ll also want to avoid encouraging users from downloading the latest Flash to their iPhone, because neither Flash nor downloads are supported by Safari on iPhone.
